Exploring Identity and Migration: The 3rd National Hadith Conference 2025 at the University of Calicut

In an increasingly interconnected world grappling with complex issues of migration, displacement, and identity, understanding historical and religious perspectives can offer invaluable insights. The Department of Hadith and Related Sciences at Sheikh Fareed Auliya Da'wa College, Odamala, and the Department of Arabic, University of Calicut, are co-hosting the

3rd National Hadith Conference on July 28, 2025, at the University of Calicut.

This year's conference, themed

"Identity and Migration: Revisiting Hijra in the 21st Century", promises to be an interdisciplinary exploration of the concept of Hijrah (migration). It aims to connect the historical journey of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) with contemporary global migration discourses.

A Timely and Relevant Discussion

The conference seeks to bring together scholars, researchers, students, and professionals from diverse fields such as Islamic Studies, History, Sociology, Political Science, Anthropology, Law, and Migration Studies.
