The role of the humanities in contemporary higher education is undergoing a major shift. Driven by technological advancements, interdisciplinary research, and the guidelines of the National Education Policy (NEP 2020), humanities disciplines are expanding beyond traditional borders to engage with AI, health, ecology, and digital frameworks.

To address these emerging fields, the Department of English at St. Joseph's College of Commerce (Autonomous), Bengaluru, in collaboration with The English and Foreign Languages University (EFLU), Regional Campus, Shillong, is organizing a 6-Day Online International Faculty Development Programme (FDP).
