Geoffrey Chaucer

Geoffrey Chaucer, the first major poet of the modern English language. Chaucer has been called the prince of plagiarists, for he did not invent his own tales. Like Shakespeare, he borrowed them from Classics, Italian, French or English sources.
Chaucer is called as the father of English poetry.
Some have called him as father of the English Drama.
