🌐 JGU International Foreign Language Conference 2025
Thinking With and Beyond AI in Foreign Language Studies
The Centre for Foreign Languages (CFL) at O.P. Jindal Global University (JGU), Sonipat, Haryana, proudly announces its 2nd International Foreign Language Conference, scheduled for 5–6 December 2025.
This year’s theme, “Thinking With and Beyond AI in Foreign Language Studies: Integration, Reflection, and the Future of Language Teaching, Literature, and Translation,” invites scholars, educators, and researchers to engage in critical dialogue on AI’s role in reshaping language education.
🎯 About the Conference
Language education has evolved from traditional grammar-translation methods to immersive communicative frameworks and, most recently, AI-enhanced pedagogies. The pandemic further accelerated this transformation, emphasizing the role of digital tools in hybrid and remote learning.
While AI provides opportunities—personalized feedback, adaptive learning, scalable translation, and speech simulation—it also raises questions about emotional depth, cultural resonance, and ethical concerns.
This conference explores how to integrate AI responsibly in foreign language teaching while preserving the humanistic, emotional, and intercultural essence of communication.
