Bengaluru, India is set to host a pivotal event in the global fight against poverty: the

11th RENPER International Conference. Organized by the Regional Network on Poverty Eradication (RENPER) and with REVA University serving as the secretariat, this conference aims to bring together academics and practitioners from around the world to address one of humanity's most pressing challenges.

A Focus on Sustainable Development Goals

Scheduled to take place from

September 17-19, 2025 at the REVA University campus in Bengaluru , the conference's central theme is "

Poverty Eradication aligned with Sustainable & Development Goals (SDGs)". This critical focus highlights the interconnectedness of poverty with broader global targets, including:

  • Poverty and Well-being: Covering strategies, economic growth, impact of COVID-19, education, unemployment, skill development, and situational poverty.

  • Entrepreneurship and Social Business: Including entrepreneurship development, social enterprise, business frameworks for poor communities, financial inclusion, and the role of NGOs.

  • Social Science, Humanities, Culture & Religion Studies: Addressing global justice, good health, environmental governance, gender studies, human rights, community development, peace and conflict, and youth involvement in poverty eradication.

  • Science, Technology, Health and Wellness: Exploring the role of science, technology, and innovation in eliminating poverty, improving sanitation, clean energy, addressing climate change, malnutrition, disability, digital literacy, and the role of AI and big data.

Keynote Speakers and Publication Opportunities

The conference will feature distinguished keynote speakers, including Prof. Dato. Dr. Nik Maheran Nik Muhammad and Prof. Dato. Dr. Ibrahim Che Omar, both former Deputy Vice Chancellors from Universiti Malaysia Kelantan, and Associate Professor Dr. Zumilah Zainalaludin from Universiti Putra Malaysia.

Academicians, research scholars, psychologists, mental health professionals, policymakers, and postgraduate students are invited to submit original research and conceptual papers. Submissions will undergo a blind peer-review process , and accepted papers will be presented at the conference. Selected papers may also be considered for publication in an edited volume or conference proceedings, subject to further review. Notably, selected papers have the potential for publication in UGC - Care/Scopus/WOS Indexed journals, with extra publication charges. Conference proceedings will also be published with an ISBN number and indexed on Google Scholar.

  • Deadline for abstract and full paper submission: August 20, 2025
  • Deadline for registration and payment: September 05, 2025

Early Bird Registration is now closed, as the last date for online registration was June 10, 2025. Regular and Spot Registration options are available. Conference fees cover attendance, a conference kit, meals and refreshments, and inclusion in conference proceedings. Please note that travel, accommodation, and visa fees are
